Revealing the details of arresting the cell that assassinated Major General Jawas

The security services revealed the details of the cell that carried out the assassination of the southern military commander, Major General Thabet Muthanna Jawas, commander of the Al-Anad Military Axis, commander of the 131st Infantry Brigade, and a number of his companions.
Major General Thabet Jawas was assassinated on the 23rd of March of current year 2022 in a car bomb targeting his car in the Green Zone north of the capital, Aden.
The sources indicated that the process of revealing the details of the assassination cell that carried out the crime came after the security services completed their investigations and were able to arrest “3” members of the cell, including a woman.
According to the sources, the cell members began monitoring the movements of Major General Jawas from the city of Mualla, noting that the monitoring process failed on the first day of the operation, as the cell members discovered during the monitoring and preparation process that Jawas was not in the car.
The sources indicated that the members of the cell confessed that they had committed the crime, as they tracked the movements of Major General Jawas, and then informed the perpetrator of the operation, who came from the Yemeni governorate of Taiz and was near the Green City.
The sources confirmed, in the context of their confessions, that the investigations with the members of the cell who were arrested in their house and in possession of an explosive device with the remote control revealed that the perpetrator of the operation fled immediately after committing the crime to Taiz Governorate.
The sources indicated that, during the next few days, the confessions of the cell members, whose confessions were documented in audio and video, will be revealed.
