Saadan and Al-Thaqali visit sectors of the National Southern Media Authority

The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Saeed Saadan, and Eng. Raafat Al-Thaqali, Head of the Transitional Council Executive in Socotra, on Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, paid an inspection visit to a number of sectors of the National Southern Media Authority.
Saadan and Al-Thaqali, accompanied by Dr. Bassem Mansour, head of the media information department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, member of the National Southern Media Authority, visited Aden Independent Channel (AIC) TV and “Huna Aden” Radio, where they were received by Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice Chairman of the National Southern Media Authority, Head of the Radio and Television Sector, in which they got briefed on the equipment and infrastructure of the sector.
Saadan and Al-Thaqali, along with Dr. Bassem Mansour, also visited the press and modern media sector in the National Southern Media Authority, where they met with Dr. Saddam Abdullah, head of the sector in the authority, in which he presented to them an explanation about the sector and its various departments, in addition to the mechanism of the work within the sector and the tasks it performs in field of journalism and modern media.
Saadan and Al-Thaqali visited as well the Training and Qualification sector in the National Southern Media Authority, where they toured the various departments of the Media Training Center of the Training and Qualification Sector, along with Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice Chairman of the National Southern Media Authority, Head of the Radio and Television Sector, and listened from Dr. Abdullah Al-Haw, Head of the Training and Qualification Sector at the National Southern Media Authority, to a detailed explanation of the workflow in the sector, its Media Training and Qualification Center, and the professional programs and courses that the Center implements.
Saadan and Al-Thaqali praised the great efforts made by the National Southern Media Authority in its various sectors to raise the level of southern media, expressing their happiness with the development witnessed by the southern media to keep pace with the rapid developments in this important field.
