Saleh: We are an Arab State and We Will Restore Our State to Its Normal Position Before 1990. But Yemen Already Fell into Al-Houthis’ Hands
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]V[/su_dropcap]ice chairman of media department of the southern transitional council, Mansour Saleh, revealed the reasons behind public mobilization declared by president Aidarous Al-Zubaidi.
In his interview with “Behind the News” on Al-Jazeera of Qatar, Saleh indicated that the war situation and serous threats to the security of the south by envious northern powers, not only Al-Houthi militias, indicated that other powers including Muslim Brotherhood are conspiring against the south.
Saleh added that public mobilization came in response to these threats not only in Kataba – AlDalia, but also in Yafia, Abian, Thurrah and the valley and desert of Hadhramaut as occupation troops are trying to control the south in favor of influential partners in Sanaa including the remains of Sanaa’s regimen, Al-Houthis and Muslim Brotherhood who are trying to control gas and oil fields to use them for their interest.
Concerning the legitimacy of the southern transitional council and president Al-Zubaidi especially with the existence of a legitimate Yemeni president, Saleh said: The legitimacy is not granted from Al-Jazeera or Muslim Brotherhood media arms. Instead, it is granted by the people, resistance and blood of martyrs who fell defending the southern soil against invasion in Al-Dalia and other places.
He indicated that the south is in partnership with the Arab Coalition and president Hady against the coup but this can never be at the expense of southern people’s interests. Southern lands belong to southern people who will liberate it away from any other calculations as said by president Al-Zubaidi.
Concerning the right of Yemen to face what Al-Jazeera called “Mutiny of the South” Saleh asserted that this so-called state is past and only exists in the imagination of Al-Muadea who resides in Amman and Al-Musanna who resides in Istanbul, in a refernce to other guests who denounced public mobilization.
He asserted that the southern legitimacy of the council is the legitimacy granted to the council on May 4th and the legitimacy of southern resistance and blood of martyrs. He added that we are not concerned with reports of Al-Jazeera and its political analysists who left their bedrooms to Al-Houthis in Sanaa and Taiz and concerned themselves with the south!
Saleh mocked Adel Al-Musanna and Abd Al-Naser Al-Muadea, guests of the program, saying their malady urged them to attack the council and the southern resistance on TV while they should direct half of this effort towards Al-Houthis who disdained them and invaded their bedrooms.
Saleh expressed his sorrow for shedding southern blood in Sanaa, Al-Hodeida and Kataba to defend those who are attacking the council’s legitimacy instead of Al-Houthis.
