SAMA Organization for Development and Guidance Launches Awareness Rising Campaign in Al-Shaheed Salem Saleh School in Rusd

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Abian – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]A[/su_dropcap]ccording to directives of the supreme commission of SAMA Organization for Development and Guidance in Aden, and in response to public calls for fighting drugs, SAMA Organization launched the first stage of awareness rising campaign against drugs in Abian on Monday February 4th, 2019 in the Abian schools. The campaign targets youth in the first stage then social centers.
The campaign started at Al-Shaheed Salem Saleh Secondary School in Rusd. Samy Awad, head of SAMA Organization in Rusd, Dr. Olwi, Al-Haithami, Colonel Fadl Kamata, chief of staff of Abian Security Belt in Yafea Al-Kara, Abd Al-Kareem Al-Soairi, secretary general of SAMA Organization, Ahmed Saleh Al-Omari, head of media department of SAMA Organization, Yasser Al-Walani, principal of the school, teachers and students attended the meeting.
Dr. Olwi Al-Haithami delivered a lecture about drugs, its risks and its negative effects on the society. He indicated physical, social, economic and mental risks of drugs and urged students to say no to drugs. He also indicated that alcohols are the first step towards drugs giving a brief historic overview about drugs evolution, types and lethal effects. He demanded all students not to take drugs and to be more careful about it.
