SAMA Organization Launches its First Awareness Rising Campaign in Aden at Mareb Secondary School
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] [su_dropcap]U[/su_dropcap]nder auspices of local authority of Al-Mualla, SAMA Organization for Development and Guidance, launched its first anti-drugs public campaign at Mareb Secondary School for boys, in cooperation with Environment and Law Developmental Foundation and other volunteers.
The program started after morning assembly attended by students of science and arts sections and faculty members. Two specialized lecturers provided students with a lecture about drugs risks and how to avoid them in addition to distributing brochures and stickers by the volunteering team.
Dr. Gawhara Al-Kuaiti, chairwoman of SAMA Organization for Development and Guidance, delivered a speech about the risks of drugs especially in schools. She also asserted the importance of students’ cooperation with the campaign to succeed.
Rashed Hazeb, chairman of Environment and Law Developmental Foundation, also delivered a speech about the risks of drugs and urged students to make use of the campaign to fight drugs at school and in the whole local community.
Al-Ghad Al-Mushrek radio station and Huna Aden radio station in addition to other media websites covered the launch.
It is noteworthy that the campaign will continue for a week in all schools of Al-Mualla before moving on to another directorate next week.
