Security Belt Commander visits grave of martyr Abu Al-Yamama

Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali, Commander-in-Chief of the Security Belt Forces, visited on Thursday, the grave of the martyr hero Munir Al-Yafei (Abu Al-Yamama), and his companions in Crater of Seera district in the capital, Aden.

Al-Wali said, after reciting Al-Fatihah for the soul of the martyr and his companions, “August 1, 2019 was a black day in the history of the South in general, as the South lost the most prominent loyal leaders, who fought and roamed in the fields of pride and dignity until he met his Lord as a glorious martyr, in a treacherous and cowardly operation”.

He stressed that visiting the grave of the martyr Abu Al-Yamama comes to honor his memory and confirm the continuation of the approach of loyalty and giving that the martyr and his heroic companions followed, noting that the sacrifices of the martyrs will remain present in the national memory, and that their pure blood will remain a beacon that lights the path of freedom and dignity for future generations.

The Commander of the Security Belt added, “On this painful anniversary, we draw inspiration from the stances and sacrifices of the heroic martyr Abu Al-Yamamah, who had the credit for fighting and eliminating terrorism, establishing security and stability in the capital Aden, and the rest of the southern governorates, and worked to establish the nucleus of the southern army, after it was destroyed following the 1994 summer war.”
