Security director of Aden the capital calls on USA to provide logistical support

Major General Mutahar Al-Shuaibi, Director of Aden Security, on Thursday, received the Ambassador Stephen Fagin, Ambassador of the United States of America (USA), in the capital, Aden.
The two sides discussed issues of enhancing support in the security field, combating terrorism and the spread of drugs, and stabilizing security in the capital.
The security director of Aden said that the war was imposed on our people and created a difficult security situation that led to the collapse of the security system in the country, stressing that the capital, Aden, witnessed during the past years security stability and the elimination of terrorism and chaos.
Al-Shuaibi stressed the need for US security support to further develop the security system, gain experience and knowledge, train staff on modern devices, and develop police and community programs.
For his side, the US ambassador reaffirmed his country’s position in support of the efforts made by the UN envoy to achieve peace, pointing to the continued support for the efforts of the security services in Aden to consolidate security and stability.
