Security services in Shabwa seize terrorist Houthi cell carried out many terrorist acts

The Criminal Investigation Department and Shabwa Defense Forces, with Political Security and National Security in Shabwa governorate seized a terrorist cell affiliated with the Houthi militia that was planting explosive devices in the city of Ataq to target the governorate’s governor, Awad bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaqi, and a number of security and military commanders in the governorate.
The Criminal Investigation Department said that the cell was planning to target the governor of Shabwa governorate, Awad bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki, commanders of the Arab coalition, of Shabwa defense, the Giants forces, and military and security leaders in the governorate.
The Department indicated that the cell had carried out several terrorist operations, including planting explosives and targeting military and security figures in Shabwa.
The Criminal Investigation Department indicated that the Houthi terrorist cell seized in Shabwa carried out many terrorist acts, especially in Ataq, and that it targeted the southern forces, especially the Giants Forces and Shabwa Defense, indicating that over the past few days, the governorate has witnessed a number of these operations of this cell.
