Self-Administration authority refers officials in Aden and Lahj to legal accountability
The Southern Transitional Council Self-Administration Committee decided on Sunday, to refer officials in the capital Aden and Lahj to legal accountability due to the tampering that affected lands of the state.
The Self-Administration Committee asked the Public Prosecution to investigate with the names mentioned in the notification, because they failed to perform their duties in protecting the state’s lands and real estate.
The notification warned that the officials referred to the Public Funds Prosecution, took advantage of the public job position and infringed on the rights of future generations.
The Self-Administration Committee stressed on the speedy completion of investigations and the inclusion of other accused persons from former officials of the state’s land sectors, according to the progress of the investigations.
