Shabwa Defense thwarts Houthi attacks at Al-Bayda border

The Shabwa Defense Forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia at Aqaba Al-Amqwa in the Al-Alia district of Markha in Shabwa governorate.

Violent clashes erupted on Monday, between the Shabwa Defense Forces and the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia on the upper Markha fronts.

The southern forces thwarted the criminal militia’s attempts to infiltrate towards the southeastern outskirts to reach the outskirts of the Markha Al Olaya district.

The Shabwa Defense Forces sent reinforcements and military vehicles, in light of the continuation of the confrontations intermittently, as the terrorist militias renewed the escalation from the borders of the Yemeni Al-Bayda Governorate.
