Shabwa Governor calls on Central Bank to monitor cash transactions

Awad bin Al-Wazir, Governor of Shabwa, discussed with the Director of the Finance Office in the Governorate, Mohammed Saeed Atiq, and the Director of the Central Bank Branch in Shabwa, Saleh Abdullah Fadaaq, today, Tuesday, the results of the consultative meetings with commercial banks and exchange companies in the governorate.
bin Al-Wazir stressed that everyone should assume their responsibilities and redouble efforts to improve banking services provided to citizens, in addition to enhancing the level of cooperation and joint coordination between banks, exchange companies and the Central Bank Branch in Shabwa.
The Governor of Shabwa called on banks and exchange companies to play their role in supporting the efforts of the local authority to achieve economic and financial stability in the governorate, calling on the Banking Supervision Sector to monitor cash transactions and control the movement of cash liquidity.
