Shabwa Governor reviews work of operating the central power station

The Governor of Shabwa, Awad bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki, on Thursday, visited the central power station in the city of Ataq, with a tour during which he inspected the components of power production units and their operational stages.
During the visit, Al-Awlaki got briefed on the visions of the station’s team of experts for emergency solutions, with the aim of developing its operation and improving its response to the operational program in the month of Ramadan.
He pointed out that the local authority in Shabwa has accelerated the construction of the electrogas station to generate 60 megawatts, during the coming period, as a step to radically end the electricity problem.
Al-Awlaki appreciated the efforts of the team working in the central station in the governorate, stressing harnessing support for the electricity sector and improving it in Shabwa Governorate in general.
