Shabwa Governorate hosts the celebration of World Tourism Day

Shabwa Governorate hosted a celebration of World Tourism Day last Friday evening, at Qana Tourist Resort in Radhum District, under the slogan “Tourism and Peace”, under the patronage of Shabwa Governor, Awad bin Al-Wazir.
The Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Daghari, said that the event is a golden opportunity to highlight the unique tourism, cultural and historical advantages of Shabwa.
The Director of Qana Tourist Resort, Hisham Al-Hakimi, expressed his happiness at Qana Resort hosting the World Tourism Day events, stressing that the resort management made every effort to make the event that it had the honor of hosting a success.
He appreciated the support of Governor bin Al-Wazir and his interest in the investment sector in the governorate, stressing the unification of all efforts and their integration with the competent authorities to make various tourism events on the beaches of Shabwa Governorate a success.
The celebration witnessed various artistic and singing segments, as the dance troupe of the Culture Office in the governorate presented cheerful performances of popular folklore, and the Tourism Office also showed a film during the event about the most important tourist attractions.
The branch of the General Authority for Antiquities in the governorate organized a photo exhibition about the most prominent historical evidence and archaeological landmarks left behind by the civilizations of the ancient kingdoms, and the Habban Museum held an exhibition of popular heritage.
