Shatara and Askar pay inspection visit to Abyan axis

The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr. Lotfi Shatara, and Major General Mohsen Askar, the Adviser to the President of the Council for Military Affairs, on Friday, and upon the direction of the President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, paid an inspection visit to the headquarters and units of Abyan combating Axis.
Shatara and Askar, upon their arrival at the headquarters of Abyan Axis, were received by the commander of Abyan Axis operations, Brigadier General Mohammad Qasim Atwa, in which they got acquainted on the level of combat readiness of the Axis’s personnel.
During the visit, Shatara and Askar conveyed the greetings and congratulations of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, to the leadership and officers and members of Abyan Axis on the blessed Eid al-Fitr.
Lotfi Shatara explained, in a speech, that this visit comes in accordance with the directives of the President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, to visit all combat units on the fronts and in the camps, to inspect their conditions and greet their members for their legendary steadfastness.
Within the framework of the visit, Shatara and Major General Mohsen Askar visited the Military Police camp and al-Matla camp, in addition to a number of military sites and points, including Wadi Hassan.
Shatara and Major General Askar were accompanied during the visit by the official spokesman of the Southern Armed Forces, Captain Mohammad al-Naqib.
