Sheikhs from Abyan central region arrive to Shokra to reject Brotherhood’s military build-up towards Aden
The southern political activist, Ahmed Al-Rubaizi, confirmed the arrival of nearly 30 sheikhs from the central region of Abyan governorate to Shokra to meet commanders of the Muslim Brotherhood’s military buildup to invade Zanzibar and the capital, Aden.
Al-Rubaizi reported that the Sheikhs came loaded with a message from the people of the central region and its tribes who refused mobilizing towards the capital Aden.
Al-Rubaizi added that the Sheikhs informed these commanders of their refusal to mobilize and transfer the war to their governorate, and carried them responsibility of the entry of northerners to Abyan governorate, and the partisan mobilization aimed at undermining the southern project, and that the south has its cause that can never be abandoned.
