Signing of a Project Agreement for Women’s Economic Empowerment in Seera District of Aden the capital

The Local Authority Building in Seera District, Aden Governorate, witnessed the signing of the “Economic Empowerment of Women and Advancing Their Role in Society” project agreement today. The agreement was attended by Ishtiaq Mohammed Saad, Director General of Women’s Development in Aden Governorate.
The agreement was signed by the Director General of Seera District, Dr. Mahmoud bin Jarradi, as the “supervising and beneficiary” entity; Dina Zorba, UN Women’s Representative in Yemen, as the “implementing and funding” entity; and Mona Abbas, an entrepreneurship trainer and consultant and head of the Badil Development Foundation.
The project includes two main phases: the first begins with a series of training and qualification courses targeting working women in Seera District, while the second phase aims to empower participants economically by providing them with support.
