Sixth Southern Resistance Brigade with support of security belt strike Houthi militia north of Al-Dhalea
The northern front of Al-Dhali and the borders of the Al-Hasha district witnessed fierce battles on Saturday, in which the battalion of martyr Ismail al-Ajam in the sixth brigade “martyr al-Shobaji brigade” managed to resist and to destroy a motorcycle carrying an average weapon type “Doshka”. For its side the artillery of the southern resistance managed at 11:00 pm the destruction of bulldozer of the militia while it was preparing defenses west of Sabira area near to the strategic Al-Job camp north of Hajar, after which the militias attempted to launch an attack at dawn from the direction of Al-Thokhb area, of Masharih sector, and on the location of Shaab Ahmed, in which the martyr Marwan Al-Ashwi brigades of the Southern Resistance Brigades were stationed.
The militia attack was broken by the heroes of the sixth brigade resistance and the martyr Marwan al-Ashwi brigades, the battles raged and lasted for more than 10 hours, in which the militias suffered heavy losses, as nearly 11 Houthi elements were killed and more than 15 were wounded.
The security belt contributed greatly to the battle, as Colonel Ahmed Qaid Al-Qubbah led reinforcements to support the Sixth Resistance Brigade and fought alongside the battle in which the southern forces were able to control the battle and defeat the militias that were tightened around and were not even able to pull the bodies of their dead.
