Skills Development Fund discusses ways to enhance cooperation with UNICEF Youth Programme

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Skills Development Fund, Issam Qassem, on Wednesday, in the capital, Aden, discussed with Sarah Shoman, the youth program consultant at the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), ways to enhance their joint cooperation to support and empower youth in the governorate.

The meeting, which included the Executive Director of the Fund, Dr. Abdullah Dagham, discussed the role of UNICEF in supporting humanitarian and development programs in Aden Governorate, the strategic plan of the Skills Development Fund, which aims to improve the economic and social situation of youth through training and rehabilitation programs, and the Fund’s training plan for the current year 2024, which It aims to train 5,000 young men and women in seven liberated governorates, by implementing 48 specific training courses with support from the Fund.
