SMA Organization for Development and Guidance Launches Awareness Rising Campaign in Al-Muflehi Yafea
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] [su_dropcap]S[/su_dropcap]MA Organization for Development and Guidance launched an awareness rising campaign against risks of drugs in Al-Muflehi Yafea on Monday February 4th, 2019. The campaign started with a speech festival in the playground of Abd Al-Kawi School in Al-Muflehi attended by Ammar Al-Zurhani, general director of Al-Muflehi, Abd Al-Rab Al-Gafari, general director of Yahar, Fadl Al-Nakkash, chairman of local leadership of the southern transitional council in Al-Muflehi, brigadier Ali Abadi, police chief of Yahar, Mehdar Alawi, director of education department of Yahar, Mohsen Al-Hawthari, Mohamed Abd Al-Hafez and Abu Hammam Doani, directors of SMA Organization branches in Labous, Yahar and Al-Had in addition to members of local leaders, sports leaders, educational leaders, Imams, school principals, southern resistance, security belt of Yafea, Police Department, villages commissions. Students and citizens of Al-Muflehi.
Ammar Al-Zurhani, general director of Al-Muflehi, Abd Al-Rab Al-Gafari, general director of Yahar, Fadl Al-Nakkash, chairman of local leadership of the southern transitional council in Al-Muflehi,, Mohamed Abd Al-Hafez, director of SMA Organization in Yafea, Abd El-Salam Gabr, delegate of SAMA Organization in Al-Muflehi, and Fadl Ben Zaid, director of Security Belt Commander’s office in Yafea delivered speeches concerning risks of drugs and its catastrophic effects on families and communities as it is considered the major motive behind murders, kidnapping and robbery. Drugs drive addicts to seek money to buy it regardless its source. In some cases, it may drive them to serious crimes. In addition, drugs are the main cause of ethical deterioration among youth as it turns them into an easy prey for criminal bands and terrorist organizations.
Attendants also talked about fighting drugs and its dealers through team work and treating addiction positively by rehabilitating and reintegrating addicts into the society. They also talked about the major role of family, school and mosque in fighting drugs to protect youth from its devastating effects.
At the end of the festival, Akram Karram was chosen as a director of SMA Organization branch in Al-Muflehi to recruit intellects and effective society members and to start field work in fighting drugs.
