Socotra Demands Muslim Brotherhood Governor to Leave
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Socotra – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]O[/su_dropcap]n Thursday October 10th, 2019, a massive demonstration marched the streets of Hadibo, capital of Socotra governorate, demanding Ramzy Majrous, Muslim Brotherhood governor, to leave in addition to rejecting Al-Eslah Policies in the Archipelago.
Protesters started from Al-Horia Square, near Saad Ali Salmeen Sports Facility and ended in front of the governorate’s building.
Protesters yelled against the governor saying: “Leave Mahrous, Leave” and “No for the Brotherhood Regimen”.
Protesters also carried banners rejecting militarization of the island by Muslim Brotherhood militias to push it into internal conflicts. Banners also thanked UAE for supporting developmental projects serving citizens of Socotra archipelago.
Security belt forces of Socotra protected protesters and secured the demonstration.
