Southern Armed Forces Advance to Strategic Posts While Al-Houthis Collapse
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Al-Dalia – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]S[/su_dropcap]outhern armed forces, with backup of the Arab Coalition, continued its battels for the third consecutive day against Al-Houthi Militias to the north of Al-Dalia and achieved significant advances towards strategic posts.
After the sweep attack in Shakhab, west of Kataba, the southern armed forces forced Al-Houthis out of western Shakhab and penetrated into the eastern and southern edges of Al-Zubairiat in addition to controlling Al-Kafla and Bab Ghalak, north west of Shakhab.
By that, villages of Sulaim, Al-Zamari, Human, Hagar, Shalil, Al-Hasahes and Al-Zubairiat (the eastern and north eastern countryside of Al-Fakher) are now under fire control of southern armed forces and Meris resistance from Gebel Sameh, Kian Shakhab and Bab Ghalak. In addition, the strategic road linking Al-Fakher to Al-Oud is also under fire control.
Southern armed forces also launched another attack over the militias in Al-Raibi, south west of Shakhab, parallel to Hajar, and cleared off the areas separating Al-Raibi and Shakhab and the two fronts become in one path.
Al-Houthis suffered sever loses as several vehicles and weapons, including a set carrying ammunition and equipment, were destroyed in addition to destroying a thermal missiles base on the edge of Bab Ghalak. Tens of the militants were killed and injured in action.
Baja and Al-Mashareeh witnessed cautious calmness with intermittent fire clashes as the southern armed forces targeted all moves of the militias. Southern resistance also exhausted a sneak of Al-Houthis to penetrate the northern edges of Al-Mashareeh valley. Al-Houthis were forced to withdraw to Al-Gub camp.
These significant victories came along with massive collapse of Al-Houthi militias as most of them escaped a few minutes after the clashes.
