Southern armed forces fail new Houthi attempt to advance in Al-Dhali
A southern military source revealed in a conversation with the media center of Al-Dhali front, the details of a recent offensive operation made by the Houthi militia, through which it attempted to penetrate the fortifications of the joint southern forces east of the Al-Hasha district at dawn on Friday, June 19.
The source said that the Houthi militia launched a large-scale field creep towards the southern forces ’positions, similar to the first fighting front east of Al-Hasha, using the strategy of human density and fire support by the armor and artillery units.
The source pointed out that the joint southern forces units stationed there managed to shortly thwart the offensive process in which the militias incurred new losses in its individuals.
The source indicated that the leader of the militia attack, called “Abdul Bari Abdullah Ahmed” from the Raymah governorate, was killed in the operation and 9 others, and about 16 other elements were wounded in various cases, who were transferred to the hospitals of Ibb and the city of Demt.
