Southern Armed Forces Liberate the Most Important Stronghold of Al-Houthis in North and West of Kataba
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Al-Arabia Al-Yemenia – Kataba – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]S[/su_dropcap]outhern armed forces including security belt troops, southern resistance, first brigade commandos, 30th armored brigade, 82nd infantry brigade, first resistance brigade, fifth commandos brigade and Giants brigades, with backup of artillery and armory, launched the most extensive attack on several axes to liberate north and west of Kataba. The attack started at dawn of Friday June 21st, 2019 using all types of weapons.
A field source indicated that the southern armed forces fought fiercely and completely liberated Al-Zubairiat area, the major stronghold of Al-Houthis in addition to liberating Bab Ghalak, Ghoul Nasser, Al-Galgal, Hubail Al-Gaidal and Al-Khaia reaching to the edges of Salim where fierce clashes are occurring.
The source indicated that southern armed forces are fighting bravely and achieved decisive victories adding that mosque Imams demanded all citizens to abandon fear and not to submit to Al-Houthis and warned those who will conspire against severe punishment.
Sources indicated that more than 25 dead bodies of Al-Houthis in addition to 18 injured remained in the valleys while ten militants were captured and tens others escaped leaving their weapons behind.
