Southern forces demolish gatherings of Houthi militias in Battar and respond to fiercest attack by Fakhr front
The artillery of the 1st southern resistance Brigade, in Al-Dhali governorate, managed to demolish groups belong to the Houthi militia that were on their way to Battar front and the Masharih, after being detected.
The sources added that the artillery of the Southern Resistance achieved its objectives after monitoring these militias, by pushing reinforcements of its forces to attack the Southern Armed Forces positions.
Captain Mahmoud Al-Gilani, Commander of the Emergency and Special Missions Battalion of the First Brigade Resistance, which is attached to the Battar and Jobb fronts, confirmed that “the artillery of the First Brigade Resistance targeted gatherings of Houthi militias northwest of al-Dhali ‘with achieved goals.”
The Captain pointed out that this pre-emptive operation, which achieved its goal accurately, was monitored after the militias were gathering their fighters with their military hardware a few days ago, as part of the recent mobilization that the militias pushed to strengthen their fighters.
He indecated that fierce battle broke out for more than an hour, during which the first brigade forces and the joint forces managed to repel the fiercest attack by the Houthi militias of Iran, from several directions, using all heavy, medium and light weapons under heavy fire coverage.
Captain Al-Gilani added that a large number of Houthi militia fighters were killed and wounded, prompting the militias to withdraw, leaving the bodies of their dead behind.
Captain Al-Gilani said that the battle extended to Sabira front, and that the other witnessed intermittent clashes and mutual fire between the southern forces and the Houthi militia after the arrival of large reinforcements of the militias, consisting of a number of crews carrying dozens of individuals and military equipment.
