Southern forces of Martyr Marwan battalions repel attack by Houthi militia in Al-Masharih

The southern forces of Martyr Marwan al-Ashawi battalions managed, on Sunday 2 February 2020, to repel an attack by the Houthi militia on Al-Hurra site and the location of the martyr Marwan and Rahadha.

A military source in Martyr Marwan battalions reported that the militia attack was spotted and failed as we forced them to retreat.

The source pointed out that the Martyr Marwan’s battalions will not hesitate for a moment to repel and crush the militia attacks that will never succeed, no matter how much they try to advance south.

It is noteworthy that the militias have failed to advance towards the Al-Masharih area, to the far west of Hajar, since the outbreak of fighting last year, for the steadfastness of the people of the Al-Mashari..

Those sources also added that the militias launch attacks at various times in the Al-Masharih area in an attempt to advance and incursion, but they face a fierce confrontation that forces them to retreat. Hundreds of militia members have been killed in Al-Masharih Front since the beginning of the war.

Military sources also report that the militias are increasing their presence with weapons and individuals who have come from neighboring areas in the past two days
