Southern forces thwart a series of Houthi attacks north of Al-Hasha
SMA NEWS – AL-HASHA
Units of the Southern Armed Forces stationed in the Al-Thukhab sector, northeast of Al-Hasha district of Al-Dhalea governorate, repelled an infiltration attempt and attack by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, causing them heavy losses.
Groups of Houthi terrorists advanced towards the sites of Shaab Ahmed, Habeel Naji and Al-Sahela, and southern units succeeded in monitoring and targeting the hostile elements which led to the death and wounding of many Houthi elements.
The Houthi militia launched intense bombardment with mortars, B10 artillery and medium weapons in order to expel its fighters, but the southern forces targeted them with suitable weapons and direct clashes with the attacking elements, forcing the Houthis to flee and retreat amid heavy losses.
