Southern Forces thwart Houthi Attack Northwest of Dhalea, Inflicting Heavy Losses on the Enemy

Units of our Southern Armed Forces succeeded this evening in thwarting an offensive attempt launched by the terrorist Houthi militias against several advanced positions in the Batar sector, northwest of the Hajar area. This attack was part of their ongoing, desperate attempts to breach the front lines.
A field source in the Southern Armed Forces confirmed that the attack was direct and violent, during which the militias used RPGs and medium and light weapons in an attempt to advance under heavy fire cover. However, our combat units responded to the situation with determination and high efficiency, forcing the attacking elements to flee amid severe confusion after suffering direct losses in lives and equipment.
The source explained that the militias attempted to surprise a number of forward positions, but encountered a solid wall of preparedness and combat discipline, retreating under concentrated and accurate fire from our units in the sector.
In a related development, a specialized unit of our southern armed forces carried out a precise offensive operation, successfully neutralizing a hostile target behind enemy lines. This dealt a painful blow that threw the militias off balance and disrupted their defensive positions.
