Southern National Assembly Holds its First Meeting in Adan Ben Brik Chairman of the Assembly and Lockman Vice Chairman

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Adan – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] The southern national assembly held its first meeting in Adan, attended by all its members and leaders of the southern transitional council. Vice president of the council, Sheikh Hany Ben Brik, indicated that the south doesn’t need a military council but there may be a ministry of defense in the future as the southern army including security belt forces, Hadhramy elites’ forces and Shabwany elites’ forces, controls the south with General Aidarous Al-Zubaidy as a commander in chief. Presidency of the southern transitional council appointed Generl Ahmed Ben Brik as a chairman of the southern national assembly and Mr. Anis Youssef Lockman as a vice chairman, according to decrees number 18 and 19. Al-Zubaidy indicated that this appointment, instead of electing the chairman and vice chairman by the assembly, is an exceptional procedure because of the current situations.
