Southern National Dialogue Team of STC meets advisor Abdulaziz al-Muflehi

The External Southern National Dialogue Team (ESNDT) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), headed by Mr. Murad Al-Halimi, member of the Presidency of STC, head of the team, on Tuesday, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, met with the advisor to the President of the Republic of Yemen and leader in the Southern Movement, Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Muflehi.
The meeting, which was held at the house of Sheikh al-Muflehi in Riyadh, discussed the principles of the southern national dialogue and the future of building a federal state in the south, in a way that provides for the people of the South political and societal stability, and economic growth.
The meeting also discussed developments in the political process related to the consultations sponsored by the Cooperation Council for the States of the Arab Gulf (GCC), as well as the efforts of the United Nations towards reaching negotiations of the final settlement.
The attendees emphasized the importance of dialogue as a civilized practice for communication and understanding among the Southern components, and means to achieve their legitimate aspirations on the path toward restoring the state and triumph to the cause of the South.
For his part, Sheikh al-Muflehi expressed his happiness and welcome to the External Southern National Dialogue Team, and his support for the Southern National Dialogue, stressing the importance of openness to everyone and the success of this great national mission, which was emphasized by ESNDT.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammed Abubakr al-Muflehi, former Minister of Culture, and Sheikh Abdul-Haq Abdulrahman bin Atef Jaber, member of the Shura Council.
