Southern Resistance Forces Penetrate into Mawia – Taiz and Control New Territories
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Al-Arabia Al-Yemenia – Taiz – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]S[/su_dropcap]outhern resistance units stationed in Torsa – Al-Azarek, south west of Al-Dhala’a, penetrated into territories under control of Al-Houthi militias in Mawia, east of Taiz.
Under commandership of Mahmoud Al-Batoul, southern military units launched a blitz attack and controlled Gebel Al-Zeeb in Mawia, overseeing Baher. Southern units controlled the posts previously occupied by Al-Houthis in Al-Masanea, Al-Shouk and Al-Saraia in addition to liberating the village of Shana’ab.
Torsa is considered one of the most violent fronts with fierce clashes from time to time. Southern forces there turned frome defense to attack and a few days ago controlled Gebel Al-Farasha, a strategic mountain in the area in addition to the posts controlled today.
These advances came along with fierce battels in the north fronts where southern forces undergo clashes described as “most violent” since last night as the southern troops regained control over Tabbat Al-Sad in Bab Ghalak, in addition to exhausting several attacks of the militias towards posts they lost previously in Baja, Al-Zubairiat, Al-Kafla and Bab Ghalak. Al-Houthis suffered severe loses in soles and equipment.
