Southern Resistance in Thurra – Abian Exhaust an Attack of Al-Houthi Militias

Taha Hussain Abu Bakr, field commander of Thurra front, indicated that “Al-Houthi militias launched a violent attack with mortar shells and RPGs on front lines then tried to penetrate our lines as clashes with light and medium range weapons, and finally heavy artillery, occurred and our heroes managed to exhaust the attack”. He indicated that clashes lasted from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM and the attack caused Al-Houthis tens of killings and injuries in addition to amounts of left-behind light weapons. He asserted that there were no causalities among heroes of the resistance as they are always ready for any attack launched by Al-Houthis. In addition, he thanked Abd Al-Latif Al-Sayed, commander of Abian Security Belt, and Ali Al-Mehwari, commander of SWAT teams in the middle zone for their support of the troops with weapons. He also thanked Saif Al-Kafish, commander of brigade 115, for his efforts with resistance heroes in Thurra.
