Southern Resistance in Upper Al- Saeed seizes two shipments of ammunition, missiles and smuggled medicines

The Southern Resistance Forces, on Monday, seized two shipments of weapons ammunition and smuggled medicines coming from Sana’a Governorate, on their way to one of the governorate’s districts, at Al-Saeed Junction in Shabwa Governorate.

The security checkpoint of the resistance at the Upper Al-Saeed Junction found a number of RPG rounds, a Dushka weapon, and an automatic arms during a routine inspection, which was on board of a loading car, and another with a quantity of smuggled medicines in the possession of two persons.

Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Abu Bakr Al-Barassi, Commander of Al-Saeed Junction Sector, confirmed to Shabwa Governorate Media Center that the security forces in the governorate are on the lookout for any smuggling operations and any attempts to disturb the security and stability that Shabwa enjoys, indicating that the investigation process is continuing with those involved and they will be referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigation procedures. With them.

The smuggling of ammunition, missiles, and medicines into Shabwa comes at a time when the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia continues to escalate in the Al-Alia district of Markha, and on the western borders of Shabwa, in a failed attempt to plunge Shabwa into total chaos.
