Southern Transitional Council of Abian Holds its Regular Meeting to Discuss Plans for the Third Quarter of 2018
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Abian – Zingbar – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Executive commission of the southern transitional council of Abian held its regular meeting on Wednesday July 18th, 2018 in Zingbar. The meeting was headed by brigadier Aidarous Hukais, chairman of the council in Abian with attendance of Mohsen Eid Said, vice chairman, to discuss plans for the third quarter, July – September, of 2018 and the half-annual achievement report in addition to other relevant issues.
Chairman of the council appreciated the punctual work of the council in Abian and outcomes of his meeting with president Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, president of the southern transitional council, and Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, secretary general of the council and what was agreed upon during meetings with historic leaders of the south abroad including the vision of the southern state and choosing negotiation team to represent the south in all local, regional and international negotiations under the umbrella of the southern transitional council. The meeting discussed the role of the council in southern – southern dialogues and outcomes of the first round of the national assembly as stated in its final statement to restore the federal southern state including all legislative preparation and diplomatic efforts.
The meeting also discussed the July – September plan and its initiatives, events and activities during the third quarter of 2018 in addition to discussing events and activities of the first and second quarters. The meeting agreed on an event to be held in Zingbar to celebrate the memory of July 23rd Massacre as more than 23 martyrs were killed when central security troops attacked a peaceful demonstration in Zingbar.
