Southern Transitional Council of Shabwa Celebrates the First Anniversary of Shabwa Elites Deployment
Southern Transitional Council of Shabwa, in cooperation with Shabwa Elites troops, d a public festival in Azzan Secondary School on Monday August 6th, 2018. The festival came in celebration of the first anniversary of Shabwa Elites deployment and the defeat of Al-Houthi militias. Sheikh Ali Mohsen Al-Solaimani, chairmen of local leadership of the southern transitional council of Shabwa, and his deputy, Aidarous Ba Ouda, in addition to media men of Shabwa and Al-Dalia, general director of Maifaa and social figures of Shabwa attended the festival. In addition, commanders of Shabwa Elites troops including colonel Mohamed Salem Al-Bu Hur, commander of Azzan axis, colonel Khaled Mansour Al-Solaimni, commander of Belhaf, captain Wajdi Ba Oum, commander of Al-Shuhada axis, brigadier Salem Hantoush, commander of Al-Saeed axis and colonel Abdullah Al-Nusi, commander of Al-Alam axis, attended the festival.
Salem Hameed, chairman of Maifaa council welcomed attendants in his speech and awarded the council’s shields to Shabwa Elites troops, Arab Coalition commandership in Shabwa, UAE Red Crescent and general director of Maifaa.
In his speech, colonel Mohamed Salem Al-Bu Hur, commander of Azzan axis, indicated that Shabwa elites serve the safety and security of the governorate. He also indicated that elites’ troops work in full cooperation with all other security and judicial systems to secure the governorate. He also thanked UAE and UAE Red Crescent for their generous support to Shabwa. He also thanked the local leadership of Shabwa council for this festival. Shabwa Elites troops awarded its shield in gratitude for UAE aremed forces, families of Shabwa Elites martyrs, UAE martyrs and UAE red Crescent.
The festival included several artistic items including a song for Shabwa Elites by Al-Houta Arts Band, a play by Al-Rwada Theatre Band, a poem by Abd Al-Kareem Al-Ahmadi, a folk dance By Al-Houta Artistic Band and another poem by the young poet, Zaid Mohsen.
Saleh Mahdy Al-Wahedi deliverd the speech of NGOs while Jomaa Awad Said, head of Women sector in Shabwa council, delivered her speech. The festival was attended by massive crowds who liked all its items.
