The spokesman for the sixth military region confirmed that the army forces no longer defend Marib, and those who are defending it now are the tribes.

Abdullah Al-Ashraf, the official spokesman for the Sixth military region, said that the army is a lie, an illusion, and it does not exist, and those who defend Marib are its tribes and some honest people from Yemen, according to him.

A leaked document revealed directives from the Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammad al-Maqdashi, as directed by Lieutenant General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar, not to involve the army in the fighting, as it is not ready.
