Spokesman of Abyan axis: Brotherhood backed by Qatar and Turkey should be listed with terrorist organizations before any peace effort

The media spokesman for the Southern Armed Forces in Abyan axis; Mohammed Al-Naqeeb said that the Brotherhood militias backed by Turkey and Qatar were the ones who started the war on the south and turned against the Riyadh Agreement.

Al-Naqeeb said on Twitter: “They started the brutal war on the south, then turned against the Riyadh Agreement, and now they continue to show their refusal and non-compliance with the ceasefire agreement,”.

He added: “They have proven the sincerity of what we are saying: Any effort to achieve real peace must begin with the inclusion of these Brotherhood militias backed by Qatar and Turkey in the list of terrorist organizations.”

The Brotherhood within the legitimacy supported by Turkey and Qatar continues to disrupt the cease-fire efforts in Abyan, and refuse returning to the implementation of the Riyadh agreement at the political and military levels.

Despite the government’s response, as well as the Transitional Council response to the cease-fire in Abyan, as announced by the Coalition; the Brotherhood’s wing in the government ignored this agreement and continued to violate the cease-fire in Abyan,
