Spokesman of Arab Coalition: Al-Houthi Militias Targeted Al-Thawra Hospital and Fish Market in Al-Hodeida with Mortar Shells
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Riyadh – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer] The Arab Coalition accused Al-Houthi militias of bombarding Al-Thawra Hospital in Al-Hodeida that led to killing and injuring tens of civilians.
In a press conference held on Friday August 3rd, 2018 in Riyadh, Colonel Turkey Al-Maleky, spokesman of the Arab Coalition, indicated that Al-Houthi militias targeted Al-Thawra Hospital and the Fish Market in Al-Hodeida with mortar shells.
The attack led to killing nearly 55 persons while 170 others were injured including women and children, according to spokesman of Yemeni ministry of Health, controlled by Al-Houthis.
Al-Maleky indicated that the coalition is improving rules of engagement due to the nature of military operations, asserting that the coalition is applying the highest international standards in targeting operations in Yemen.
