STC and Southern Armed Forces mourn the heroic leader, Major General Saleh Al-Sayed

The leadership of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and the Southern Armed Forces, issued a statement to our southern people at home and abroad, mourning the demise of the heroic leader and brave fighter, Major General Saleh Ahmed Al-Sayed, Staff of the Southern Land Forces, Director of Lahj Security, who died at dawn on Thursday, due to a sudden angina pectoris, after a life full of struggle and sacrifice.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
{Those who, when a calamity befalls them, say, “We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.” Allah the Great has spoken the truth.
With great sadness and pain, the Southern Transitional Council and the Southern Armed Forces share with our southern people at home and abroad, mourning the heroic leader and brave fighter, Major General Saleh Ahmed Al-Sayed, Staff of the Southern Land Forces, Director of Lahj Security, who died at dawn on Thursday, due to a sudden angina pectoris befell him, after a life full of struggle and sacrifice.
The casualty is great, the loss is grave, and the pain is deep for the departure of this hero commander who spent his life in making victory for his homeland, the South, in defense of its lands, and in preserving its security and stability, advancing the front ranks in the fields of pride and dignity, against the forces of terrorism and extremism and the enemies of the homeland and humanity.
Throughout his life full of sacrifice, the heroic commander, Saleh Al-Sayyed, presented a unique example of a steadfast and solid military commander, determination and courage, and اe was a role model to follow in devotion and belonging to the soil of the dear homeland.
The leadership of the Southern Transitional Council and the Southern Armed Forces, as they mourn the heroic leader Saleh Al-Sayed, confirm the great loss of the South and the Armed Forces, with the loss of this brave leader who was a living school of heroism, magnanimity, vigor, selflessness, giving of spirit and blood, renewing the pledge to follow in his footsteps in honor of the principles he instilled in everyone who accompanied his career full of championships and achievements, until reaching out the complete achievement of the goals for which our people sacrificed convoys of martyrs and wounded.
The leadership of the Southern Transitional Council and the Southern Armed Forces also extend this affliction to our valiant southern people, and to the heroes of our armed forces, the brave comrades and colleagues of the late great Al-Sayed, and to his sons and relatives, with sincere condolences and sympathy, asking the Almighty Allah to imbue the hearts of all with patience, and to accept the deceased with mercy and forgiveness, and dwell him in spacious gardens of heavens.
