STC Denounces Aramco Attacks

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]S[/su_dropcap]outhern Transitional Council denounced the attacks of two oil refineries of Aramco, a Saudi Oil Company, in Bakik and Hajarat Khuris last Saturday. The council issued the following statement:
In continuation of its aggressive behavior, Iran-packed Al-Houthi militias continued its terrorist attack to demolish security and stability of the region through targeting vital facilities that renewed on Saturday September 15, 2019 when a terrorist attack targeted two oil facilities of Aramco in Bakik and Hajarat Khuris with drones.
With deep concern, the council is observing these repeated assaults and denounces them severely as they are considered as an indicator of these militias’ brutality in addition to being a challenge of international laws and conventions and rules of engagement that prevent targeting civilian targets.
Considering these terrorist acts, the council asserts its full support to our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against all kinds of terrorism and against anyone who tries to threaten the kingdom’s stability and national security. We also support the Saudi leadership in all measures to be taken in retaliation to protect its facilities and interests. We demand the international society to double the efforts to halt such attack, prevent them and punish those who commit it and those who support them.
The Southern Transition Council
