STC General Secretariat discusses anniversaries celebrating program of historic Aden Declaration and establishment of the Council and Victory Day

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held on Monday its periodic meeting chaired by Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, the member of the Presidency, Acting Secretary-General, Chairman of the Relief and Humanitarian Action Committee.
The meeting reviewed a number of reports on the activities of the General Secretariat departments, and the political and economic scenes, in light of the continuing deterioration in services, and the high prices of food and consumer goods, and the unjustified increase in the price of fuel, and the burdens of the increasing number of refugees and displaced persons to the capital Aden.
The meeting gave an analytical explanation about a series of these problems, and put together a set of proposals, solutions and recommendations to address them.
Al-Kaf explained that the deterioration in the electricity sector requires everyone to join efforts to save this institution and other institutions in the south.
Eng. Al-Kaf heralded the imminent solution to the issue of water interruptions in the capital, Aden, by re-pumping about 20 wells from Abyan Governorate to the capital, Aden, within the next two days.
The meeting discussed the arrangements for the program to celebrate the anniversary of the historic Aden Declaration, the fourth of May, the anniversary of the establishment of the Southern Transitional Council on May 11, and the celebration of the Victory Day for Aden, which comes on the 27th of Ramadan.
The meeting reviewed and approved its previous minutes, as well as the weekly completion reports for the work of the General Secretariat departments, and the most important activities to be implemented during the next week.
