STC in Hadramout: We will not make peace with failed and corrupt officials

SMA NEWS – MUKALLA
Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Hadramout governorate, at the second quarterly meeting of the local leadership of the STC in Hadramout, in the city of Mukalla, on Saturday, called to adopt the citizens’ demands and lead their peaceful movements rejecting the government’s corruption and failure and calling for its dismissal.

During the meeting, which came under the slogan Hadramout refuses to spawn the components, Al-Mohammadi denounced the war of starvation and the war of services, stressing that the government will not reconcile the failed and corrupt officials who have brought the country to this bad state.

The head of the local leadership of the STC in Hadramout valued the popular uprising in the governorate’s districts on the anniversary of the Southern Land Day, refusing to spawn the components and demanding the removal of the forces of the first military region, reiterating the pledge to continue the struggle until every inch of Hadhramaut is liberated and the Hadrami elite forces deployed throughout the governorate.

He praised the high level of political awareness of the people of the province, as it guarantees the failure of the plots, and will not allow the parties of destruction, the partners of July 7, to return to power.

Al-Mohammedi warned of an integrated plot hatched by the Yemeni forces that plunder the wealth of Hadramout, by disrupting the unity of the Hadhrami class, and striking its components, stressing that the division of components is one of its manifestations.

The periodic meeting discussed the organizational report of the executive body of the Southern Transitional Council in Hadramout, and the local leaderships in the districts, on the activities carried out during the second quarter of this year.

The attendees affirmed the continuation of the struggle until the liberation of the entire Hadrami land, stressing that the people of Hadramout, who are striving to purify the valley from the Yemeni occupation, will not allow the return of Afash and the Brotherhood’s tools to the coast.

They also demanded the leadership of the local authority to support the choices of the people of Hadramout, and not to align themselves with the projects and agendas of the allies of the invasion of the south, and they agreed on a self-assessment of the performance of the local leadership in the governorate and the leaderships in the districts.
