STC in Tarim commemorates Southern Land Day with a massive public event

The local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Tarim district of Hadramout governorate, on Tuesday, revived the Southern Land Day event with a large speech festival, with the participation of dozens of residents.

Participants in the public event raised the flags of the state of the South and pictures of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council.

Mohammed Abdul-Malik al-Zubaidi, head of the Assistant Executive Body of the STC for the Valley of Hadramout, said during the event that the people of the south have been subjected to the most heinous methods of oppression, brutality and systematic destruction by the Yemeni occupation forces, since they invaded their land.

He explained that despite the injustice inflicted on the southerners, they are steadfast, pointing to the launch of the peaceful southern revolution on 7/7 of the year 2007 and the establishment of the peaceful southern movement, to resist the occupied southern people and sacrifice thousands of martyrs and wounded.

He added that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council continues the movement’s path and works with its goals and principles, until it brought its cause to international and regional forums, and made the southerners a key player in the political equation.

The head of the local leadership of the STC in Wadi Hadramout called on all the people of the south to rally around the Southern Transitional Council and its wise leadership.

In turn, Sheikh Hassan bin Saeed Al-Jabri, the leader of the second Hadrami uprising, confirmed to the people of Al-Rudoud region that the campaign is part of the Southern Transitional Council, calling on the people of Hadramout to unify the ranks and southern visions and rally around the STC, praising the role of the people of the Al-Rudoud witnessed in the participations with the activities demanding to enable the people of Hadramout to manage their land and to stand united with the Southern Transitional Council that supports all the demands of the people of Hadramout, and to stand against anyone who tries to obstruct the empowerment of the people of the governorate to manage it, stressing their willingness to sacrifice everything in order to defend Hadramout and preserving its capabilities.

He stressed the refusal of the people of Hadramout to any small projects calling for the dispersal of the southern ranks, especially in Hadramout, expressing his thanks for the interest of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Hadramout and its people.
