STC leadership in Shabwa performs Eid al-Fitr prayers and inspects security points

The head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Shabwa Governorate, Lahmar Ali Lasoud, on Wednesday, performed the blessed Eid al-Fitr prayer, along with a number of leaders of the local, security and military authorities in the governorate and crowds of worshipers at the stadium of the late Nasser Al-Khulaifi in the city of Ataq.

After performing the prayer and listening to the two sermons, Lahmar Ali Lassoud exchanged congratulations and blessings on Eid al-Fitr with the crowd of citizens, and, along with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water for the Environment Sector, Naif Massad, he went on a visit to Sheikh Al-Dhib bin Massad, the leader of the Al-Kazmi Khalifa tribe in Khamer area in Ataq District.

Lasoud visited the fighter Salem bin Manser Bamerhoul and the family of the martyr Hassan Abdullah Hanshal, bringing the greetings of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, and his congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, assuring them of the STC’s leadership’s interest in the fighters and strugglers and families of the martyrs, expressing the appreciation for the great sacrifices they made for the sake of restoring the southern state.

The Head of STC in SHabwa was keen to inspect the security checkpoints spread across the city of Ataq, congratulating their members on the great religious occasion, and presented them with Eid gifts as an expression of his gratitude for their efforts and sacrifices, ensuring the comfort of citizens, and maintaining security and stability in Shabwa Governorate.
