STC President Issues Decree No. 44 of 2023 on Restructuring the National Assembly

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zoubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), issued on Thursday decree No. (44) of 2023, the first article of which stipulated that the National Assembly of the STC be reconstituted of (371) persons representing the governorates of the South in accordance with the criteria of area and population, and as they are mentioned in the lists.
The second article (2): of the decree stipulates that the bylaws of the STC and the internal regulations of the National Assembly shall determine its organizational structure, tasks, and jurisdictions.
The third article (3): of this decree is stipulated to be enforced from the date of its issuance; any prior decree that contradicts its provisions shall be considered nil and void and to be published in the official gazette of the STC.
