STC Secretariat Discusses Political Landscape Report and Recent Field Developments in the South

The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting today, Monday, at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Haidara al-Shaqqi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Secretariat.
The meeting reviewed a report on the political landscape in November, presented by the political department, highlighting the key developments on the national political scene.
The meeting discussed the progress of activities and festival events organized by local leadership executive bodies (LLEBs) in the governorates of the South and university coordination bodies that marked the 57th glorious anniversary of Independence Day on November 30. In addition to the encountered
challenges and difficulties.
The meeting also shed light on a range of pressing field developments at the economic, social, and security levels in the governorates of the South. In this regard, the meeting emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts by the secretariat departments, LLEBs, and university coordination bodies to bolster the resilience of the people of the South and confront current challenges, thereby fulfilling their aspirations and preserving their hard-won national gains.
At the end of the meeting, they touched on a report on the achievements and activities of the departments of the Secretariat during the past week, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
