STC Secretariat Reviews Workflow of Media and Woman Departments Between January and August 2024

The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting on Sunday, in the capital, Aden, chaired by Major General Kamal Hamshari, a member of the Presidium of the STC and Acting Secretary-General.

During the meeting, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Shaqqi, Assistant Secretary-General for Governorates Affairs, reviewed a field report on his visit to Al-Dhale’a Governorate, where he focused on the key challenges facing citizens in light of the ongoing escalation by the Houthi militias on the border.

The meeting reviewed the progress of work in the departments of Media and Culture, and Woman and Child, highlighting the key activities and programs undertaken by these departments between January and August of this year 2024.

The meeting discussed an organizational report on enhancing the performance of the Secretariat’s departments in August 2024. In this context, several measures and recommendations were agreed upon to bolster and boost the STC’s overall organizational performance.

The meeting reviewed the organizational report on improving and developing the performance of the Secretariat departments for the month of August 2024, and in this context, several measures and recommendations were taken that would enhance field work and raise the level of the STC’s organizational performance.

The meeting discussed the most prominent developments in the situation, touching on the progress of the educational process in the governorates of the South and the importance of developing education in a way that serves society and enhances its capabilities in various specializations.

At the end of its meeting, the Secretariat touched on the weekly activity report of all its departments and the implemented activities during the aforementioned period in various areas of their jurisdictions, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
