STC’s Delegation Concludes Visit to Netherlands

A high-ranking delegation from the Southern Transitional Council (STC) concluded its visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands on Friday in response to a kind invitation received by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi from the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The delegation was led by Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, Head of the Political Commission and the Negotiations Unit, and included several members of the STC’s Presidium, heads of auxiliary bodies, and advisors.
During the visit, the delegation held a series of meetings and discussions with the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials and ambassadors in European Union countries, ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries, and a number of international envoys and officials of international organizations in Yemen.
Likewise, the delegation of the STC organized a press conference and conducted press interviews with international newspapers, through which they shed light on the latest political, economic, security, and humanitarian developments in the South and Yemen.
Similarly, the delegation participated in a number of sessions at the Yemen International Forum (YIF), which was sponsored by the Netherlands government and organized by the Sana’a Center for Studies, in addition to holding an expanded meeting with the South community organized by the coordination council for Southern Communities in Europe and the Southern Community in the Netherlands to receive the visiting delegation of the South to the Netherlands.
At the end of the visit, the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs (GDFA) on behalf of the STC’s delegation is highly pleased to extend its sincere thanks and appreciation to the friendly government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the invitation, hospitality, warm reception, and great interest given to the delegation, and immense gratitude also to the Netherlands Embassy in Yemen for their tremendous efforts in bringing success to the paid visit and easing all faced difficulties, and to whoever positively contributed to facilitating the delegation’s visit, meetings, and fruitful communications at the international level.
