STC’s executive body in Aden the capital discusses with advisor to Aden governor for ports affairs conditions of displaced and migrants and humanitarian works

The acting head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the capital, Aden, Mr. Essam Abdo Ali, met in his office on Monday, with Mr. Ahmed Al-Wali, the advisor to the governor of Aden the capital for ports affairs, member of the Relief Committee.

The meeting discussed a number of important issues related to the conditions of the displaced and illegal immigrants, as well as the efforts of relief and humanitarian works.

The meeting also reviewed the efforts of cooperation and coordination between the local leadership of STC and the local authority in the capital, Aden, to reduce the issues of displaced people coming from Yemeni Arab, as well as illegal immigrants from the Horn of Africa who gather in the streets and residential neighborhoods of the districts of the capital, Aden, and the possibility of transferring them to displacement and shelter camps outside Aden.

Al-Wali praised the efforts of the local leadership of STC in the capital, Aden, in finding solutions to the issues aftermentioned, pointing to the continuation of the process of communication and cooperation with international organizations and local authorities to address the problems of illegal immigration and the possibility of returning the displaced from Yemeni Arabs to their country, especially after the war stopped and the enhancing the peace efforts in the region.
