STC’s Presidency Asserts Endorsing Resolutions Issued by MAIF to Meet Citizens’ Needs for Fish

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, chaired by Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the STC, Minister of State, and Governor of the Capital, Aden.
The Presidency lauded the outcomes of the meeting of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the president of the STC, with the UN special envoy, affirming that it contributed to activating the role of the negotiating team of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) to perform the assigned negotiation rounds to end the war and launch the comprehensive political process in our country.
In a separate context, the Presidency affirmed its endorsement of the significant resolutions issued by the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries (MAIF), Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Soqatri, aimed at regulating the process of exporting fish in the ports, underscoring the need to seriously and positively respond by the prime minister, the concerned ministers, and relevant authorities to endorse and execute those resolutions aimed at enabling the people of the capital, Aden, and other governorates to meet their needs of fish and to control the exorbitant prices in the local markets to positively commensurate with the purchasing capacity of citizens.
Furthermore, the Presidency had discussed the briefing of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the STC, which was presented by Mr. Anis Al-Sharafi, the deputy director of GDFA, in addition to reviewing a range of topics and issues related to the work of the STC’s bodies and taking the appropriate measures.
