STC’s Presidency Stands Before Results of Dialogue Teams with Southern National Forces at home and abroad

The presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting, on Monday, chaired by the president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC.
The presidency of the STC, in its meeting which was attended by several ministers of the STC in the power-sharing government, stood before results of the work of the External Southern National Dialogue Team (ESNDT) and the Internal Southern Dialogue Team (ISDT) with the southern national forces and components both at home and abroad, during the past period, lauding understandings achieved by the two teams in the course of fulfilling the Southern Unity, strengthening the national cohesiveness, and preserving the southern social fabric.
The presidency stressed the importance of studying that results and proceeding in an integrated way to reach a national code of honour among all the southern national forces and components, for the active participation of all in shouldering tasks of the upcoming stage, and laying the necessary foundations to transform these results into a practical reality, strengthening the national front to encounter challenges facing the southern people and protecting the national gains, to fulfill the supreme goal represented in restoring the State with its full sovereignty.
In a separate context, the presidency stood before the STC’s tasks in the negotiating process, affirming the need of boosting the performance of the Council’s negotiating team to work in the various regional and international directions to ensure reaching a specific negotiating framework for cause of people of the South in the comprehensive peace process that will be held under the sponsorship of the United Nations and the international community.
To the end of its meeting, the presidency lauded the immense efforts made by the security services in the capital Aden, during the days of the blessed Eid Al-Adha to establish security, stability and maintain public tranquility, emphasizing on continuing these efforts at the same course of action in the upcoming period.
